BESTeam Weekly Feature: 41 park

My BESTeam feature this week is 41 park, a jewelry shop on Etsy that specializes in precious stones and beautiful handcrafted pieces in fine silver and copper. Liza, the artist behind 41 park, is based in Massachusetts but has traveled all over the globe. Her love of diverse cultural experiences can be seen in her work which show influences from the West and East. This also translates into the gemstones and metals she uses in her work, which are chosen for more than just their appearances as she notes the historical purpose of each material she uses in her listings. So not only do you receive a beautiful piece, you get a wonderful story behind it.

Etsy progress

Things are going pretty well.

My jewelry is coming together finally, which was partly delayed because resin requires a lot of little details and fixing. And anyone who knows me knows I can be very focused on making everything up to standards.

I've also been working on some purses. Probably my second or third time working with zippers and it went much better than planned. Plus I have a bunch of beautiful fabrics that really need to be made into clutches and the kicker--they're textile samples for $1 each sheet (and we're not talking tiny fabric squares either)!

Hopefully I'll get everything up in my Etsy this week. No...not hopefully. I plan to open my shop this week.
